Most people will understand that I don’t make New Years Resolutions as I don’t think they are good for mental health. However I have made a list of 2020 Goals that I would like to work towards.
Last year I wrote a blog post all about the things I wanted to achieve in 2019. Most of them were unachievable but I wanted to go for it anyway. Here is a recap…
- Reach 5k followers on Instagram
- Be invited to a blogging event
- Travel more
- Work with some of my favorite brands
- Spend more time with people
As you can imagine most of these didn’t happen, but I did manage to achieve two of them. This year I was lucky enough to go abroad twice (Istanbul and Rome) as well stay in Bath, London and York for the weekend.
I did also spend more time with people this year. I attended a cupcake class hosted by one of my favourite Instagrammers, spent the day at the Glamour Festival in Manchester with my cousin and went to Turkey with my Mum and Dad. It was nice to fall back in love with family time as in the past it could be a struggle to enjoy.

The additional three goals were a bit of a struggle, for example my following did grow on Instagram but not the extent that I had hoped, but that wont stop me from trying again this year. As for working with brands and being invited to an event, I think that was a bit far fetched even for me!
So, going into a new year (and a new decade) I have decided to renew my goals for 2020.

- Gain 500 subscribers on Youtube
- Start a monthly newsletter
- Travel to three new places
- Do more date nights with my love
I cannot wait for you guys to enter into the new year and decade with me. But I also want to thank those of you that have been with me from the beginning and I hope we can make many more memories together.
