I feel like I haven’t written about my skin care in ages and there have been so many changes recently that I thought I would make the most of it and sit down and tell you guys all about the skincare products that I have fallen in love with for Spring/Summer 2019.

I will start by stating to you guys that none of these products have been gifted to me, they have all been purchased with my own money and simply because I love them. For anybody that is interested though I have linked the products throughout the post so you can shop as you go along.

The first thing I want to mention is my cleanser, I am currently using Clinique Rinse-of Foaming Cleanser Mousse. I swear this stuff works miracles day and night and leaves my skin feeling heavenly. I use it first thing in the morning when I wake up and it kick starts me for the day and gives me that jolt of energy to start moving. I then use it again in the evening to rinse of the days stress and wear and to prepare me for my nightly routine. I think one if the best things about this cleanser is that it takes off even waterproof make-up and leaves your skin silky soft.

Secondly, I would like to mention is one I have been using for a while now and cannot get enough of and that is the Clarifying Lotion from the Anti-Blemish Solutions 3 Step range. I have to say that if you are someone who suffers from break outs and blackheads (like me!) then I cannot recommend this product enough, it has changed the way I view my skin on a day to day basis. Don’t get me wrong I know that I don’t have the worst skin in the world, but its always been a pet peeve to have blackheads in my T-Zone, around my nose and under my chin and those pesky break outs that come around once a month…ladies you know what I mean!. This lotion puts those straight out of my mind and allows me to enjoy clear skin at all times.

The third product I have to mention is one that I have been loving since the beginning of 2018 and I use it for so many different things on a weekly basis as its so adaptable, the Clinique Moisture Surge 72 hour Replenishing Hydrator. The first is when I have finished with my cleanser and lotion I put a large helping on my face to prepare it for daily make up. Secondly, I actually use this as a face mask at weekends (an idea I actually got from Freddy of Freddy My Love) because the texture and feel of my skin afterwards is beyond luxury, I feel classy and ready to take on anything and finally I use it as an overnight repair if I have a had a badly scheduled week and haven’t taken the time to look after my skin as I should.

Following my daily skincare routine there is one product that I have to put on face before I am willing to let the foundation anywhere near it and that is my primer. I know not everyone uses one and I fully support that, I mean, each to their own but personally I feel like it is a necessity before large doses of makeup as it works hand in hand with my moisturiser and prevents the make up from drying out my skin throughout the day. As for my favourite, I’m still in love with my Glossier Priming Moisturiser and I don’t feel like I will be swapping it out any time soon, it protects my skin from all the damage that wearing foundation everyday can cause and also I think it makes its easier get everything off at the end of the day.

Finally, even though I don’t use it on a daily basis I have to give a shout to my Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel. I have to say when I am having a breakout this clears the worst up overnight, it’s like a miracle worker! I find the best way to use it is to pin-point the worst areas and just lather them in this before going to bed and then first thing in the morning, before you cleanse, just wash of whatever is left and I guarantee the areas will have reduced redness and the spots will have become almost non-existant, the rest can normally be hidden with some strategically placed concealer and contour.

I have loved writing this post for you guys and I hope you have loved reading it just as much. I would love to hear about your miracle workers and daily routines, so feel free to leave a comment below!

See you soon!
